Laila received her own library card today. She chose a few picture books to read while we were at the library, and also heard recommendations from a second-grader. At the end of our visit to the library, Laila selected two books to bring home and checked them out with her own card.
On a chilly afternoon, we walked to Washington Square Park. Once we arrived, Laila leaped from her stroller, took my hand, and ran in circles around me for several minutes.

Laila's Grandma and Grandpa ("Dan-ma! Dam-pa!") came to visit last week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
